What Emily and friends are choosing to read this fall

Emily is gravitating more towards audible, because who has the time to sit and read a book.

She downloaded The Paris Trilogy but is hoping to finish Lolita first.

She was sent an advance copy of Intermezzo, why? who knows? She’s already pictured herself with it and posted on her Instagram.

Alfie has picked up a fall classic, The Secret History, it’s September the home of dark academia and Tarrt is the OG.

Camille spent her whole childhood reading, her TBR list feels never ending. Ottessa Moshfegh’s whole catalog sits on her bookshelf, because who writes about complex women better than Moshfegh herself.

She also plans to read Shokos smile a gift from Gabriel.

Gabriel plans to read Land of milk and honey and Piglet. In the hope of being surrounded by literature focusing on food, cooking and consuming will continue to inspire new dishes. He has also picked up We’ll Prescribe You a Cat after genuinely considering a feline friend

Mindy is carrying around Dear Dickhead, purely because what a perfectly titled novel. She wants to reread Taylor Jenkin Reeds novel Daisy Jones and The Six as is actively recruiting someone to make a chic docuseires for her and the bands journey to Eurovision. She plans on reading patti smiths Just kids as devours anything Smith writes on Substack.

Madeline is planning to read Bringing up Bebe, as soon as she has the time.

Sylvie is reading All Fours because protagonists should be real women above the age of 40. La Femme De Gilles sits on her desk and she knows she will read over a cigarette and a coffee.

Luc plans to read All Fours because he saw Sylvie reading it he heard it was all about the woman having sex with herself.

Julian is reading Fourth Wing and plans to read Iron Flame. He knows it’s ringarde but he reads on his kindle so no one knows. He even has a small short fan fiction story featuring himself and Xaden it is spicy!
